Your cardiovascular health is a key predictor of longevity.

A VO₂ Max test measures how efficiently your body uses oxygen during exercise, revealing your aerobic capacity and overall fitness. Research shows that improving VO₂ Max can significantly lower mortality risk.

At Bristol Longevity, we use the state-of-the-art VO₂ Master Analyser in our dedicated gym to assess cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and recovery, whether for athletic performance, medical evaluation, or rehabilitation.

The Test is conducted on a treadmill or stationary bike under the supervision of your practitioner. The intensity of the exercise gradually increases while the machine measures your respiratory gases.

Results are expressed in millilitres of oxygen per kilogram of body weight per minute (mL/kg/min). A higher VO₂ max indicates better aerobic fitness.
